Terms and Conditions
Welcome to the English Explorers Club! To help everything run smoothly, safely, and happily for all our English Club Explorers, we’ve put together a few simple guidelines.
Booking and Enrolment
To reserve your child’s spot, please complete the registration form and payment before the start of the block.
Because we keep our groups small (max 10 children), spots are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Fees and Payments
You can easily secure your child’s spot by paying the fee for the 7-week block via an online payment link (iDEAL) or bank transfer.
Joining us mid-block? No problem! Your fee will simply be calculated pro-rata for the remaining classes.
Cancellations and Refunds
Flexible First-Session Policy: We want every child to enjoy learning English with us. If it’s not the right match after day one, just let us know within 24 hours for a refund (minus the cost of that first class).
Missed Classes & Swapping Days: We keep our groups small (max 10 children). If you need to miss a class, you are welcome to request one swap per block (between Wednesday and Thursday). Just send us a quick message in advance so we can confirm there’s an open spot!
Individual Absences: Due to our limited spaces and fixed costs, we are generally unable to offer refunds or pro rata fees for individual missed classes due to illness, holidays, or personal schedule conflicts.
Club Cancellations: In the rare event that the English Explorers Club must cancel a class due to unforeseen circumstances, we will issue a refund for that class.
Drop-off and Pick-up
Our doors open 5 minutes before class starts. Please be prompt for drop-off and pick-up so we can make the most of our time together!
Children will only be handed over to a parent, legal guardian, or an authorized emergency contact designated in advance. If someone else is picking up your child, just send us a quick message beforehand to let us know.
Health and Safety
If your child is unwell (e.g., running a fever, contagious illness, or heavy flu symptoms), please keep them at home to rest and protect the other children.
Please make sure to share any medical information, allergies, or special requirements during registration so we can give your child the best care possible.
Personal Property and Liability
While we take great care to create a safe, supervised, and fun environment, the English Explorers Club cannot be held responsible for lost personal items or accidental injuries beyond our reasonable control.
Code of Conduct
We want every child to feel comfortable and confident. If a child’s behaviour ever makes it difficult for others to enjoy the class, we’ll work closely with the family to find a positive solution. If the club ultimately isn't the right fit, we may discuss ending their participation.
If you have any questions about these terms, feel free to reach out to us at hello@englishexplorersclub.com.
